Conscious Mom leaders

Winter Season 2021

In honor of Mother’s day, we are thrilled to present a segment on Conscious Mom Leaders. Inspirational women executives have paved the way for conscious parenting while climbing the professional ladder all the way to the very top. Conscious parenting is a parent-centric parenting philosophy that is based on the idea of its focus on the parents, rather than the child’s behaviour. Let’s learn how to strike this delicate work life balance.

“Have a plan on how you’re going to share the work. Be flexible with each other. Don’t let the stress and the burden of raising kids keep you from staying connected as a couple. There are going to be times with young professional couples- somebody might be on the upswing and somebody has a respite. Taking the time to coordinate that and be strategic about that can really make a huge difference.”

Former President & COO of Genentech

“Partnership with the spouse – it’s very important how you balance that. Even though we had a lot of support around us, I truly believe both parents still should be there daily.
